Valentine's Day Special Episode Two

A dream place.

The first few days were perfect. A paradise island. The white sand stretched as far as the eye could see, caressed by a warm breeze. They had only arrived a few days earlier, and already they felt like they had left the world behind.

The hotel, nestled in the hollow of a wild cove, offered discreet luxury, a paradise suspended between land and sea. The days flowed by in a whirlwind of emotions and simple pleasures. They had promised to savor every second. Their first Valentine's Day and honeymoon.

- We should live here.

The unexpected.

Something was wrong this morning. She didn't feel well.

- Are you okay? he asks her, still sleepy.

She tries a tight smile. "Great, and you?"

A silence, then she jumps out of bed and rushes to the bathroom. He hears her from the bed. His own stomach begins to rumble. A shiver. A cold sweat.

The handle turns. She opens the door, haggard, before collapsing onto the bed. He disappears in turn.

Lying down, she stares at the ceiling. In theory, everything should be perfect. She thinks back to the seafood the day before. And there's that suspicious smell hanging in the air. She sighs.

Suddenly, she remembers the gift her best friends received at her bachelorette party. She had laughed.

She jumps out of bed, rummages through her suitcase, and pulls out a bottle of Nomade Chic Domaine Singulier. She sprays the perfume in and around the room. The scents of bergamot, violet, and jasmine delicately unfold.

She closes her eyes. Breathes deeply.

A door rattles. He returns, pale but alive. He sniffs the air. He collapses beside her, grateful.
