Emmanuelle has worked for major perfume and cosmetics brands (L'Oréal, Shiseido Group, Caudalie…). Over the years, and during lockdown with her family in Paris, Emmanuelle became more aware than ever of the impact of places, smells and nature – and its absence – on mental well-being.

She decided to return to the origins of perfumery, whose primary purpose was to purify places and soothe minds with ritualized gestures – even in intimate spaces, such as toilets and bathrooms, too often forgotten. Domaine Singulier was born.
