L'univers inspirationnel de Domaine Singulier

A STORY OF CONVICTIONS, EXPERTISE AND ENCOUNTERS

During the lockdown, stuck in Paris with her family, Emmanuelle became more aware than ever of the impact of places, smells, and nature—and the absence of nature—on the mind, energy, and well-being. Emmanuelle has worked in cosmetics and perfumes for 30 years (L'Oréal, Shiseido Group, Caudalie, etc.).

She has one idea in mind: to create fragrances that enhance everyday life and also allow you to feel good even in the privacy of your bathroom, a too often austere obligatory passage. To do this, she wants to return to the origins of perfume, whose primary purpose was to beautify and purify spaces and soothe minds. Natural scented creations that are a real alternative to ultra-synthetic and often too heavy, aggressive, intrusive home fragrances. Real fragrances that are both sophisticated and natural, effective while being light and delicate to enhance without invading spaces and the mind.

“Becoming aware of the spaces and objects that surround us, perfuming places – including toilets – to enhance them, is a gesture that is both simple and essential. A way of taking care of yourself, of better inhabiting the moment and of welcoming differently.” Emmanuelle

The products' creations are the result of collaboration between the founder and talented individuals. She calls upon Éléonore de Staël, an independent perfumer and expert in natural materials for the first three fragrances; Julie Serre, a freelance illustrator with a unique style for the design; and exceptional manufacturers and artisans, all in France. The specifications are the same each time: no compromise between sensory and natural, effectiveness and responsibility.

Domaine Singulier was launched at the end of December 2022 with two initial natural scented creations specially designed for toilets and bathrooms – and quickly adopted in other rooms of the house. Original photographic editions enrich the brand's universe. The majority of the photographs are by Emmanuelle. The collection is expanding with a third fragrance, sensory skincare soaps, and objects created in collaboration with artists, in limited editions.

Domaine Singulier is available online in its own boutique and in a selection of concept stores, committed perfumeries, niche brand pharmacies, and exceptional guesthouses. To learn more about our points of sale and locations, click here.
