The soliflore and the small diffuser are unique pieces, in stoneware, hand-shaped and in small series by Caroline Esteban, exclusively for Domaine Singulier.
From the outset, Emmanuelle Daumesnil, the creator of Domaine Singulier, wanted Domaine Singulier to be more than a brand and perfumes, but also a meeting place, a global universe.
Emmanuelle had been looking for several months for a ceramic artist who could help her create and offer decorative but also useful objects with Domaine Singulier.
Objects made to last and enhance everyday life; simple and sensory objects, in harmony with the brand's universe and which can be integrated into the intimate spaces of toilets and bathrooms.
Emmanuelle Daumesnil met Caroline Esteban during a visit to a workshop where she works, located between Place de Clichy and Saint-Lazare in Paris. She fell in love with the delicacy and finesse of Caroline Esteban's creations.
Immediately, by talking together, the collaboration became obvious to both of them.
" My emotions and my experiences, my need to connect with the living and the earth, permeate and shape each of my creations" Caroline
Who is Caroline Esteban?

Caroline is a Parisian ceramic artist.
After years of working in humanitarian aid and NGOs internationally and in France, Caroline felt a deep need to change her career and her position, to leave the emergency sector behind.
With ceramics, which she had already practiced when she was younger, Caroline rediscovered the pleasure, essential for her, of being able to anchor herself in the earth and the present,
Caroline completed vocational training and earned a vocational certificate (CAP) before launching her career as a ceramic artist. She has been passionately practicing her craft for two years in a studio in Paris's 9th arrondissement.
Caroline's creations all have one thing in common: a look that's both raw and sensual, minimalist and full of poetry, with a play of contrasts between materials, textures, and sometimes colors. Stoneware is her favorite material.
Caroline's creations are both utilitarian and decorative pieces that enhance everyday life, always adding a touch of emotion and sensoriality, even a touch of femininity. These are, for example, the pair of handles on a cup, all curved and soft.
Caroline also creates pieces of art (photo), more abstract and more imposing too.
The Domaine Singulier single flower vase and small diffuser created by Caroline Esteban.
Caroline Esteban's first two creations for Domaine Singulier are the soliflore and the small diffuser, which can be found in the store.
The single-flower vase and small diffuser adorn spaces with a touch of beauty and poetry that is both simple and highly sensory. Their size has been specially designed to fit into the small spaces of restrooms and bathrooms.
The soliflore lives perfectly alone or accompanied by another soliflore, empty or with fresh or dried flowers inside.
The small diffuser, with its soft, organic shape, can be discreetly placed on a small shelf or in a piece of furniture to delicately diffuse its fragrance. It is the ideal complement to the Elixir Bien Elevé.
A meticulous creative process.
Emmanuelle, the creator of Domaine Singulier, first presented the brand and her goals to Caroline in detail. After a brainstorming phase, Caroline presented a creative idea that Emmanuelle immediately loved and approved. The collaboration was underway.
A creative process and manufacturing in several stages:
Step 1 : think, imagine the form and the final result
Step 2 : do several tests of shape, rendering and choose the right one
Step 3 : hand-turn each piece with white stoneware
Step 4 : Complete the finishing touches and stamp each piece with the Domaine Singulier stamp
Step 5 : Carry out an initial cooking
Step 6 : Dip each piece into an enamel bath (an exclusive recipe) for a half-matte, half-satin finish and enamel the inside of the vase to make it watertight.
Step 7 : Cook a second time at high temperature
Each piece is born from this long and meticulous process. Each piece is unique; no two are truly alike. They may therefore present slight variations in shape, size, and color, as well as small imperfections, those of the human hand.
The secret of Caroline Esteban.
Caroline uses a glaze she makes herself. This glaze was used on the exterior of the vase and on the diffuser to create subtle effects of material and light in natural hues.
